How to get involved
PRIMED welcomes professional engineering organisations and businesses in the broader engineering sector. We understand how busy you are, so you can choose how much time you want to dedicate to the program and what benefits you'd like to gain from participating in the program.
Membership
If this is your first time working with us in PRIMED, or if you would like to be involved in a limited capacity (for example deliver one guest lecture, or offer one student-based project) you are welcome to become a PRIMED standard member.
Sponsorship
For partners who would like to be involved more and participate in 3 or more events with students, and also have their company advertised to students we offer a sponsorship opportunity.
The details of each involvement level are provided below:
This option is perfect for partners who wish to contribute to one or two events annually, with a total time commitment of up to 10 hours per year.
Whether you're interested in delivering a guest lecture, hosting a site visit, or offering an honours project, this flexible arrangement is designed to suit your availability.
You’re also welcome to participate in our work placement program if you’d like to be more involved - though it’s entirely optional. Regardless of your level of engagement, you’ll be invited to our broader career-focused events, where you’ll have the opportunity to connect with and inspire engineering students.
This option is ideal for partners looking to take a more active role, with involvement in 3 to 5 events per year - equating to approximately 10 to 50 hours annually.
Activities may include our mentoring program, final year projects, and the opportunity to contribute to honours or master’s projects, participate in panel discussions, or support advanced events such as design challenges.
As a silver sponsor, your organisation will be prominently featured on the PRIMED website, including a dedicated profile and a special video showcasing your work. You’ll also have the chance to help shape the future of the degree program through discussions with our leadership team, and you’ll receive exclusive invitations to additional career-focused events, including our renowned research evening.
To support the coordination of these initiatives and associated marketing efforts, we kindly request a contribution of $2,000–$4,000 as part of your silver sponsorship.
This all-inclusive option is designed for partners who wish to be deeply engaged across all student-focused events throughout the year.
Our ideal gold sponsor is able to participate in five or more events annually, including work placements, internships, and graduate program opportunities. Gold sponsors also collaborate closely with us to support and guide final year projects.
In addition to the benefits offered at other sponsorship levels, gold sponsors receive priority access to advertise job opportunities directly to students via our student portal, and play a key role in shaping the future of the degree program through strategic input and collaboration.
To support these initiatives and contribute to associated marketing and promotional efforts, we kindly request a donation in the range of $4,000–$6,000 as part of your gold sponsorship.
