If this is your first time working with us in PRIMED, or if you would like to be involved in a limited capacity (for example deliver one guest lecture, or offer one student-based project) you are welcome to become a PRIMED standard member.

Sponsorship

For partners who would like to be involved more and participate in 3 or more events with students, and also have their company advertised to students we offer a sponsorship opportunity.

The details of each involvement level are provided below:

This option is perfect for partners who wish to contribute to one or two events annually, with a total time commitment of up to 10 hours per year.

Whether you're interested in delivering a guest lecture, hosting a site visit, or offering an honours project, this flexible arrangement is designed to suit your availability.

You’re also welcome to participate in our work placement program if you’d like to be more involved - though it’s entirely optional. Regardless of your level of engagement, you’ll be invited to our broader career-focused events, where you’ll have the opportunity to connect with and inspire engineering students.

Student engagement

These industry interactions are meticulously documented by students, enriching their practical experience portfolios accumulated during their degree.

As graduation approaches, PRIMED facilitates a structured transition to employment, offering clear avenues for students and employers to connect.

The overarching goal of the PRIMED program is to secure employment for all graduates.

In essence, PRIMED underscores the University of Tasmania's dedication to nurturing forward-thinking, industry-ready graduates who are poised to make a meaningful impact in their chosen field.
